It’s confirmed that both Murder House‘s Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton will be back for the new season of American Horror Story: Apocalypse.
Footage leaked online earlier this week of Dylan McDermott on the set at the Murder House location, with Connie Britton since confirmed to be returning as well.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse crosses over the first season’s Murder House with the third season’s Coven, as the anti-christ baby Vivien Harmon birthed at the end of the first season, Michael Langdon, is now all grown up.
Murder House saw Vivien Harmon raped at the hands of the evil ghost Tate Langdon, with the end of the season revealing Michael around three years old killing his nanny, which fulfilled the prophecy of medium Billie Dean Howard (Sarah Paulson), who also returns from Murder House for Apocalypse.
Paulson actually also returns as the witch Cordelia from Coven and plays a new character for Apocalypse with Venable.
Cody Fern is also playing Michael, thought to be the anti-christ.
What remains to be seen is how the witches come into play from Coven, which includes returning: Stevie Nicks, Lily Rabe as Misty Day, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery, Taissa Farmiga as Zoe Benson, Gabourey Sidibe back as Queenie and Frances Conroy as Myrtle Snow.
Jessica Lange is also set to return in the sixth episode, directed by Paulson.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres September 12 on FX also starring Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Gabourey Sidibe, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson and newcomer Joan Collins.
