This past Friday saw it hit Twitter that Deadpool 2 was said to be a mess.
A Twitter user was told by someone that allegedly saw a Deadpool 2 test screening that the movie was pretty bad with various reasons given.
I was a bit suspect about the series of tweets as the user seemed obviously bias against Deadpool 2 for some reason (he claimed he didn’t see it, was given the info anonymously, but was adamant the movie was really bad).
The good news is now it’s actually being said Deadpool 2 is excellent.
The latest comes from Collider’s Steven Weintraub (who admittedly I have a hard time believing at times as well) who tweeted out:
Have seen a completely untrue report of ‘Deadpool 2’ testing poorly. From what I heard the first 2 test screenings both scored over 90 with the second one scoring close to the top mark. I’ve also spoken to people that saw it. Everyone said it’s excellent. Fans will love.

In addition, Josh Brolin previously let it be known he was involved with reshoots, so I am guessing whatever version of Deadpool 2 was test screened, wasn’t the final version.
On the outside, it seems like we have a twitter battle of shilling going on, as on one hand one guy (maybe) isn’t a fan that Tim Miller got let go from directing Deadpool 2, and on the other, we have someone (maybe) close to the studio.
Regardless what is exactly going on here, I’m really looking forward to Deadpool 2 and the ensuing movies including X-Force.
