Yesterday saw it reported that Stan Lee was rushed to the hospital after suffering an irregular heart beat.
While it was stated Stan Lee would be in the hospital for a few days, now it’s learned Stan Lee is back at home and “feeling great.”
ABC 7 caught up with the creator of Spider-Man and Iron Man via a Skype interview.
“All I really want to do is tell you that I’m feeling great,” Lee said. “I’m glad I spent that evening in the hospital. It did me a lot of good.”
Stan Lee continued with his usual upbeat personality.
“Now I’m home and looking for new trouble to get into. You know, the usual,” Stan Lee said. “I figured that a little check up wouldn’t be bad for me, and in fact it turned out to be pretty good. It got me a lot of publicity. I didn’t realize the whole world was worried about whether I was in the hospital or not.”
Stan Lee was present at Monday’s Red Carpet premiere of Black Panther side-by-side star Chadwick Boseman.
“I’m always there cropping up, Always helping, aiding, assisting. I hope the world really realizes how much it owes to me,” Stan Lee joked. “I just intend to keep doing this as long as I can. And it’s nice to know that somewhere in the world there are always people who are fans who care about what people do – the people they’re interested in. And I think having fans is one of the greatest things. I can never say how grateful I am for it.”
