The Lost City of Z, based on the David Grann novel of the same name, has a 2016 release date also starring Angus Macfadyen and Edward Ashley. Brad Pitt is on board as producer.
The film, set in 1925, stars Charlie Hunnam as< the legendary British explorer Colonel Percy Fawcett who ventured into the Amazon jungle in search of a fabled civilization, leaving his wife (Sienna Miller) behind. Robert Pattinson stars as Fawcett’s fellow explorer Henry Costin, with Tom Holland as the son, Jack Fawcett.
