A shadow looms large over new Spider-Man Tom Holland on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Director Jon Watts posted a Spider-Man: Homecoming set video featuring Tom Holland in front of a green screen with some sort of shadow behind him which may be teasing Michael Keaton’s Vulture, the villain of the movie. Or perhaps the shadow is Peter Parker’s feeling of the weight of the world on his shoulders as with great power comes great responsibility in being Spider-Man.

Tom Holland also posted video of himself practicing a flip for Spider-Man: Homecoming and challenged Chris Hemsworth and stuntman Bobby Holland Hanton to “beat that.”

We also see Tom Holland has been working out pretty hard in order to achieve his Spider-Man: Homecoming physique as the 20-year-old actor posted images and video of himself playing basketball.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” has a July 7, 2017 release directed by Jon Watts starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.

Synopsis:

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Marvel Studios’ “Captain: Civil War,” begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
