There must be a billion soccer mom’s in China, as it’s being reported the Chinese have banned the Deadpool movie.

THR reports the Chinese have banned Deadpool due to its violence, nudity and graphic language.

Reports first surfaced about China denying a release of Deadpool on China’s news.mtime.com.

It’s noted China usually works with Hollywood studios to clean up a lot of R-rated movies, but it’s said that wouldn’t work for the Deadpool movie as removing the offending material would cause a lot of plot problems.

China doesn’t have a rating system like we do, but instead has a government ratings board, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT), that makes the decisions.

“Deadpool” has a February 12, 2016 release directed by Tim Miller starring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, TJ Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax.

Synopsis:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
