Super 8 (2011): ‘Full Editing Room’ Newsreel Trailer

pic Anybody have their tickets for Super 8?

The J.J. Abrams’ sci-fi alien film is set to debut tomorrow, June 10th!

A new (sorta) trailer has been released, “Full Editing Room,” which is actually the combined clips of the “newsreel” footage that has been shown off on various sites, and I think the Super 8 site, as well.

Anyway, here it is!

Synopsis:

Set in 1979 Ohio, the film will follow a group of six young children as they use a Super 8 camera to make their own home movie. One night while filming near a remote stretch of railroad track, the children witness a truck collide with an oncoming train leading to a catastrophic derailment. Amidst the fire and destruction, something emerges from within the wreckage, something inhuman.

Super 8, due out June 10th, 2011, is directed by J.J. Abrams, produced by Steven Spielberg and stars Kyle Chandler, Amanda Michalka, Elle Fanning and Zach Mills.
