Watch: MTV’s Shannara BHS Video

Check out a behind-the-scenes look at the new Shannara TV series above that is coming to the MTV network.

“Explore the beautiful country of New Zealand in this behind the scenes first look at the amazing landscapes and sets of The Shannara Chronicles , coming to MTV in January 2016!” states the video description. 

The series is based on the Terry Brooks novels of the same name and premiers on MTV January 2016.

Jon Favreau executive produces Shannara, which stars Arrow‘s Manu Bennett as the druid Allanon, Austin Butler as Wil Ohmsford, Poppy Drayton as Amberle Elessedil, Aaron Jakubenko as Ander Elessedil, John Rhys-Davies as Eventine Elessedil, Daniel MacPherson as Arion Elessedil, James Trevena-Brown as Crispin Edensong, Emilia Burns as Commander Tilton, James Remar as Cephelo, Marcus Vanco as Bandon and Ivana Baquero as Eretria.
