Logan Crushes LEGO Batman

Logan Crushes LEGO Batman

Fans love to argue DC vs. Marvel, and now the Marvel fanboys have one more notch under their belt.

FOX Studios’ Logan Marvel movie has absolutely crushed the WB LEGO Batman film.

While in the U.S., Logan debuted with an $88.3 million debut to LEGO Batman‘s $53 million weekend gross, the difference gets much larger over in China, home to the second largest movie audience.

Logan scored $46.2 million in China. So how did LEGO Batman do? A measly $3.6 million (via THR)!

That’s a huge difference, which may be be blamed on the Chinese not liking American animated films (my guess).

Logan‘s current worldwide box office gross is at $240 million.

LEGO Batman is currently at $256.8 million and opened a month ago.

My own two cents: I really disliked LEGO Batman, but loved Logan

Logan is now in theaters directed by James Mangold starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Doris Morgado, Dafne Keen and Eriq La Salle.
