Tobey Maguire Spider-Man Rumors Include Uncle Ben

Tobey Maguire Spider-Man Rumors Include Uncle Ben

Another batch of Spider-Man 3 rumors involving Tobey Maguire has hit the net, this time involving Uncle Ben and the Multiverse.

Similar to how DC’s The Flash used John Wesley Shipp in multiple roles for Henry Allen and Jay Garrick, it’s claimed that Kevin Feige is going to follow suit and do the same for Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man 3.

According to scooper Daniel RPK, Marvel and Sony want to use Tobey Maguire as not only his Spider-Man from the Sam Raimi movies, but they want Tobey Maguire to also be the face of Uncle Ben from the MCU.

So when the Tom Holland Peter Parker/Spider-Man sees the Tobey Maguire Peter Parker, Holland thinks it’s his deceased Uncle Ben.

An added rumor also claims that producer Amy Pascal wants both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire for another project, possibly a Sinister Six movie and that the idea would be to close the story of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Spider-Man 3 Spider-Verse Multiverse

Rumor offer Spider-Man 3 will be Multiverse ā€œSpider-Verseā€ flick

If that is the case, then that would probably mean Spider-Man 3 will not feature its own Sinister Six made up of Multiverse characters, but maybe just hint at the Sinister Six, such as the use of Jamie Foxx as Electro, and then have another movie featuring the villain team versus Maguire and Garfield.

The scooper also previously said that Sony might do what DC is doing and go all-in with the Multiverse idea and do new solo films for Tobey and Andrew, so maybe it’s Sinister Six.

Additional rumors offer Emma Stone may return in Spider-Man 3 as Spider-Gwen.

At the same time, it’s also been said that Marvel is planting fake storyline rumors, with the notion of Spider-Man 3 as a Multiverse ā€œSpider-Verseā€ movie possibly fake.

Even more rumors claim that Tobey Maguire is returning in Spider-Man 3, but the actor is hesitant to sign as reportedly he wants more screentime.

The untitled Spider-Man 3 gets released Dec. 17, 2021, directed by Jon Watts.
