Superman & Lois Final Season Delayed Until Fall

Superman & Lois Final Season Delayed Until Fall

It’s learned the ten-episode Superman & Lois final season has been delayed until at least a Fall 2024 release.

While no release date has been announced, it has previously been said the final season has been delayed to allow time for the VFX and wouldn’t get released until after April.

Well, The CW has announced its Spring release dates, and Superman & Lois isn’t on the schedule.

At the Television Critics Association panel, The CW President of Entertainment Brad Schwartz confirmed a fall release (via Deadline):

As for Superman & Lois, Schwartz argued that the final season would be “wasted” in the summer, as he believes it will rival the rest of the fall broadcast slate across competing networks.

“I watched the first episode last night,” Schwartz teased. “It will make you cry.”

Give Superman & Lois the sendoff it deserves

Recall my insiders said the final season of Superman & Lois was a complete disaster (the same ones who told me about Daredevil), so it appears that hopefully they are fixing things and giving the series the sendoff it deserves.

Plot details aren’t known but it’s known the final season has also seen massive cuts as the cast has been shredded.

Only the main cast are set to return which includes Tyler Hoechlin and Elizbeth Tulloch along with Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent and Alex Garfin as Jordan Kent; Michael Cudlitz will also be back as his version of Lex Luthor.

It’s guessed the Kents move to Metropolis which explains why the Smallville cast has been cut.

It has also been said that the remainder of the cast could return in a guest starring role. Gone for Season 4 includes Dylan Walsh as Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarrette as Sarah Cushing, and Sofia Hasmik as Chrissy Beppo, with Wolé Parks as John Henry Irons, and Tayler Buck who plays his daughter Natalie Irons also out.
