Marvel Comics Announces ‘Deadpool & Wolverine: WWIII’

To go along with the new movie that gets released this summer and the big marketing push, Marvel Comics has announced a new Deadpool & Wolverine: WWIII comic book series, which happens to be approved by Ryan Reynolds!

Ryan Reynolds tweeted the cover art and the details include the first issue of three will go on sale May 1.

Joe Kelly returns to write with art by Adam Kubert.

“The most intensely mismatched team-up in comics and pop culture, the best there is and the merc with the mouth, undergoes a radical change in an all-new three-part, globe-spanning saga for the ages in DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE: WWIII #1,” announced Marvel.com.

Marvel.com added, “On stands this May, acclaimed writer Joe Kelly makes his return to Deadpool in the new series alongside legendary artist Adam Kubert. The mysterious Delta believes in change. Change is good. But as he sets his sights on Deadpool, and Wolverine is caught up in the plot, is the third time really the charm, or the curse? Get ready for WWIII to erupt on the scene with the wildest duo in comics!”

Marvel also announced a new Deadpool relaunch that begins in April. See below.

The description offers: As he confronts a brand-new archenemy named Death Grip—who may very well live up to his name—Wade will also reunite with his daughter Ellie. It’s the father/daughter duo the Marvel Universe isn’t ready for… and if Death Grip has his way, it’ll only lead to heartbreak!

“Wade’s been one of my favorite characters since I first got into super hero comics, so being asked to helm a Deadpool series was a dream come true,” Ziglar told Marvel.com. “I look forward to diving into and exploring Wade’s family (found or otherwise), his unique approach to being a (mostly) unkillable mercenary, as well see what kinda of whackos they bring into his orbit.”
