Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has posted a new message from the development team, offering an update on ongoing improvements and teasing what’s coming next as development continues.
In a statement shared on social media, producer Takeshi Yamanaka thanked fans for their support following the recent X-Men team reveal and confirmed the team is actively refining the game based on feedback from event demos and Closed Beta Tests 1 and 2.
Gameplay Changes Already Implemented
According to the message, several updates are already in place. These include:
- Improvements to the Assist mechanic
- Faster character switching
- Adjustments to Link Attacks
- Tuning of area transition frequency
Some of those changes are visible in the newly released gameplay video, while others are happening behind the scenes and weren’t fully shown in the trailer.
The team emphasized that feedback from players is shaping the direction of the game, and more detailed notes outlining the implemented changes will be shared ahead of the upcoming Arc World Tour.
New Build Playable at Arc World Tour Finals
The updated build will be playable at the Arc World Tour Finals in Seoul, South Korea, on March 20. The demo will feature 11 playable characters, including newly revealed X-Men members Magik, Wolverine, and Danger.
The developers also confirmed more characters and game modes will be announced in future updates.
Continued Development Toward 2026 Launch
Alongside the written message, the team released a gameplay video showing a glimpse of the refinements currently in place.
While the game is still in development, Arc System Works says it remains committed to polishing the mechanics and improving the overall experience based on player feedback.
