Dafne Keen is again rumored for Deadpool 3 with it claimed she is set to return as Laura, aka X-23, from the Logan movie.
This time the rumor comes from DanielRPK.
While it seems Deadpool 3 is set before the events of Logan, this is the Multiverse we are talking about, so anything can happen.
If Dafne Keen is indeed returning for Deadpool 3, in her own time, it will obviously be years later as the actress is all grown up. Logan was released in 2017 and they filmed prior to that, and now it’s 6+ years later and Dafne Keen is 18 years old.
Previous rumors said she was in talks, so according to the latest rumor the deal is set.
Dafne Keen is also set to star in Disney and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars series, The Acolyte, and is currently filming Whistle described as: At Whistle High School, misfit students stumble upon a cursed object, an ancient Aztec death whistle. They find that when they blow the whistle, the terrifying sound it emits will invoke their future deaths to hunt them down.
Deadpool travels the Fox Marvel Multiverse?
Deadpool 3 is also rumored to feature a host of Multiverse characters including Patrick Stewart back as Xavier, Halle Barry back as Storm, Ian McKellan back as Magneto, Karl Urban is rumored as Wolverine, Channing Tatum as Gambit, and more.
The plot is said to follow Ryan Reynolds as he travels the Fox Marvel Multiverse which leads him to encounters with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and other characters.
It’s claimed the TVA and possibly Owen Wilson are hot on the heels of Wade Wilson who has screwed up the timeline.
Deadpool 3 is directed by Shawn Levy and gets released on July 26, 2024. They are also back to filming following the strikes.
