Agatha Ratings: Less Views Than The Acolyte, Confirmed By Disney

Disney reports Agatha All Along scored 9.3 million views in the first seven days.

Now of course there is the question: Is that a good number?

Deadline actually says in their report that it’s for the first episode, but that could be wrong and the number could be for the first two episodes which were released at the same time.

Otherwise, it seems the first episode was watched by a lot more than the second episode (why didn’t Disney release the second episode numbers then?).

Regardless, is it a good start? Well, I also believe this is the first time that Disney reported numbers for a week’s total. Previously, Disney reported numbers for five-day totals for The Acolyte and Ahsoka, but they used a six-day number for Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

To put things in perspective in regards to Marvel, Loki Season 2 scored 10.9M views in its first three days, which obviously blows away Agatha.

Disney reported The Acolyte had 11.1 million views in its first five days, more than Agatha, and The Acolyte has been canceled. Ahsoka? 14 million views in five days.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians‘ six-day numbers? 13.3 million viewers.

It seems obvious that Disney stretched the Agatha number out to seven days to get a better headline.

We’ll know more once Nielsen releases its numbers, but that won’t be for a while, and by the looks of it, Agatha might not even make the charts if The Acolyte barely did.

We also see, once again, that Samba TV fails to make any mention of another Disney show that seemingly is a big bomb. Samba TV, likely at the request of Disney who is an investor, has stopped reporting numbers for Disney+ Star Wars and Marvel shows. It can only be because the numbers aren’t good, otherwise you would want them revealed.
