Andy Serkis may have just let something slip about Iman Vellani appearing in Avengers: Doomsday.
The two appeared together while promoting Angel’s Animal Farm, where Vellani brought up how excited she is for Serkis’ upcoming Lord of the Rings movie, The Hunt for Gollum.
Serkis then fired back with his own Marvel tease.

Andy Serkis Teases Iman Vellani In Doomsday
During the exchange, Vellani said she is excited for Gollum, with Serkis replying that he is excited to see her in Doomsday.
Vellani immediately laughed and told him, “You can’t say that.”
Serkis then walked it back, saying something along the lines of if there should ever be the chance to see her in it.
Vellani kept the joke going, saying if there is ever the chance, like Doomsday, but Gollum is happening for sure.
So nothing official has been announced, but the exchange is already fueling speculation that Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel could be part of Avengers: Doomsday.
Ms. Marvel’s MCU Future Has Been A Question
Vellani’s future in the MCU has been unclear following The Marvels, which bombed at the box office and became one of Marvel’s biggest theatrical failures.
Kevin Feige previously praised Vellani’s casting, calling her one of Marvel’s best choices, while also suggesting The Marvels was hurt because audiences had not kept up with Ms. Marvel on Disney+.
That led to the obvious question: If audiences skipped Ms. Marvel and The Marvels, where does Kamala Khan go next?
Avengers: Doomsday would be one possible answer, especially with Marvel expected to bring in a large roster of heroes from across the MCU and multiverse.

Marvel Zombies Also Keeps Ms. Marvel Around
Vellani also recently returned as Ms. Marvel in Marvel Zombies, where Kamala played a major role in the animated Disney+ series.
Marvel TV boss Brad Winderbaum has since confirmed that Marvel Zombies Season 2 is happening, so Vellani’s Marvel future may not be limited to live-action.

Brie Larson And She-Hulk Rumored Out
The possible Ms. Marvel tease comes as other rumors claim Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk will not appear in Avengers: Doomsday.
If true, that would make Vellani’s possible return more interesting, as Kamala was last seen trying to put together a young team at the end of The Marvels.
Marvel has not officially announced Vellani for Avengers: Doomsday, so for now, Serkis’ comment should be treated as a tease, not confirmation.
Still, the way Vellani reacted makes it sound like Serkis may have said a little too much.
