Avengers: Doomsday Gets ‘Brutal’ CCXP Mexico Display Following CinemaCon Trailer Debut

Avengers: Doomsday Gets 'Brutal' CCXP Mexico Display Following CinemaCon Trailer Debut

Marvel is promoting Avengers: Doomsday at CCXP Mexico with a “brutal” new display that leans hard into Doctor Doom.

The convention kicks off today and runs through Sunday, with the Avengers: Doomsday setup spotted on the show floor as fans get their first look at Marvel’s latest convention push for the next big MCU event film.

Avengers: Doomsday Display Hits CCXP Mexico

The display features a massive Avengers “A” logo lit in green, giving it a Doom-style look that fits the movie’s title and Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the MCU as Victor von Doom.

The setup is surrounded by rubble, with director-style chairs placed around the display.

A small countdown-style screen is also built into the base, continuing the end-of-the-world marketing angle Marvel has been using for the film.

CCXP Mexico is taking place this weekend, and the Avengers: Doomsday display is part of a larger superhero presence at the convention, which also includes Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Supergirl displays.

Is Marvel Holding A Panel At CCXP Mexico?

So far, no official Marvel Studios panel for Avengers: Doomsday has been confirmed through the public info we could find.

The current chatter points to Marvel having a booth or interactive display at CCXP Mexico, with fans hoping for a poster, footage, or some kind of new look.

However, there does not appear to be a confirmed Hall H-style presentation for Avengers: Doomsday at the event as of this writing.

That means fans should keep expectations in check. The display is real, but a full trailer drop or major presentation has not been officially announced.

Follows CinemaCon Trailer Reveal

The CCXP Mexico push comes right after Marvel brought Avengers: Doomsday to CinemaCon, where Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Kevin Feige, and directors Joe and Anthony Russo appeared to promote the movie.

Marvel screened a new Avengers: Doomsday trailer behind closed doors for CinemaCon attendees, giving the room a first look at Downey as Doctor Doom.

Kevin Feige also said the story is inspired by a famous comic run involving colliding universes, allowing Marvel to bring together characters from different franchises, including the original X-Men cast, the Avengers, the new Avengers, and the Fantastic Four.
