Netflix has announced three more names for Wednesday Season 3, with Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, and James Lance set to guest star in the hit Addams Family series.
The streamer made the casting reveal on April 9 with the line, “Every nightmare needs new faces.”
The new trio joins a growing list of Season 3 additions. Netflix previously confirmed that Winona Ryder, Eva Green, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer are also part of the new season. Production on Wednesday Season 3 was already announced as underway earlier this year.
Netflix keeps building out Wednesday Season 3
Netflix has not revealed who Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, or James Lance will be playing, but the guest casting continues to add recognizable names to one of the streamer’s biggest shows.
Headey is best known to genre fans for Game of Thrones, McCarthy remains tied to 1980s classics like St. Elmo’s Fire, and Lance earned recent attention for Ted Lasso.
That fits with how Netflix is positioning Season 3. Netflix described the newcomers as part of the latest wave of arrivals as Wednesday returns with more suspects, more mystery, and more Nevermore chaos.
“Our goal for Season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can,” co-creator and showrunner Alfred Gough said at the time of the Season 3 announcement.
Co-creator and co-showrunner Miles Millar added, “We want to continue digging deeper into our characters while expanding the world of Nevermore and Wednesday. We will be seeing more Addams Family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3!”
