Netflix has released the first trailer for Lord of the Flies, confirming the four-part series arrives May 4.
The adaptation is written by Jack Thorne, directed by Marc Munden, and stars David McKenna, Winston Sawyers, Lox Pratt, Ike Talbut, and Thomas Connor.

The four-part series follows a group of English schoolboys who become stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash. What starts as an attempt to stay civil quickly falls apart as tribes form and the fight for control turns violent.
This marks the first television adaptation of Lord of the Flies.
Cast Includes First-Time Actors
The main cast includes David McKenna as Piggy, Winston Sawyers as Ralph, Lox Pratt as Jack, Ike Talbut as Simon, and Thomas Connor as Roger.
Netflix also says many of the young actors are making their onscreen debuts. The cast was assembled through an open casting call led by Nina Gold.
