Elizabeth Banks Humiliated At The Emmys After Woke Rant Backfires

The woke feminists in Hollywood take another “L” as actress Elizabeth Banks gets completely embarrassed at the Emmys.

Banks, who starred in the failed #MeToo Charlie’s Angels movie, which she went on to regret, was an awards presenter at Sunday night’s Emmys, which honors excellence in television.

Recall how she also called out Steven Spielberg at the Women in Film awards back in 2017 for never directing a movie with a black female lead, which saw the audience shout back at her, “The Colored Purple!”

Now she’s back at it.

What happened at The Emmys?

Banks presented for the “Outstanding Directing For A Limited Or Anthology Series Or Movie,” which happened to have six nominees — five of them female, with only one male.

Elizabeth Banks relished in the fact that most of them were women, which obviously meant the odds were in their favor and against the male director. To Banks, it wasn’t about who did the best job, but all about their gender.

“And when was the last time a directing category had five women and one man?” she said and smiled as the audience, made up of Hollywood actors and creatives at the event, erupted. “Yeah, I did not bother to look that up, but I think we all agree it was never.”

Banks then named the six nominees (listed below), and when naming Philip Barantini, being nominated for Adolescence, joked, “Which is kind of poetic if you think about it, because Philip is the oner.”

She smirked and said, “If you know, you know.”

Banks then read the winner: “Alright, and the Emmy goes to Philip Barantini.”

Comedian Adam Carolla was watching the presentation and posted the clip on X: “Nice try b-itches,” he tweeted.
