Exactly as I predicted, the Nielsen ratings for Agatha have dropped following the bump from the previous episode, which was likely a result of fans tuning in to watch the surprise cameo of X-Men actor, Evan Peters, who returned as Ralph Bohner from WandaVision.
However, now that Evan Peters doesn’t appear in the next episode, we see the ratings have dropped back down again.
The Nielsen ratings for the week Agatha Episode 7 have been released – which similar to Episode 4 – are a no-show on the Nielsen charts.
What are the Agatha ratings?
- Episodes 1 & 2: 426
- Episode 3: 365
- Episode 4: ??? – does not appear on Nielsen charts: lower than 352
- Episode 5: 310
- Episode 6: 410
- Episode 7: ??? – does not appear on Nielsen charts: lower than 379
Fans bail after Evan Peters; WandaVision has double the audience
So the ratings went from a series high featuring Evan Peters from Episode 6 of 410 to not making the Nielsen charts with Episode 7.
Netflix’s This Is The Zodiac comes in at #10 with 379, so that obviously means the Agatha ratings for Episode 7 are lower than 379.
Also a I have been pointing out, the low ratings Agatha suffers are pretty much on par with Ms. Marvel, the lowest-rated weekly-released MCU show on Disney+ that also saw episodes disappear from the Nielsen charts.
The Agatha ratings also happen to be going the opposite direction than what WandaVision did, which saw the ratings increase with every episode (see below). WandaVision‘s own Episode 7 scored a 720, possibly meaning it was watched by double the amount of fans that watched Agatha. The only witch fans want is Scarlet Witch.
Marvel fans don’t want this kind of garbage
I think it’s safe to say the Marvel audience hasn’t showed up for these types of shows. Disney and Marvel recently dumped She-Hulk from official Disney+ artwork and replaced She-Hulk with the billion dollar Deadpool.
Up next for Disney+ from the MCU is Deadpool: Born Again, which exactly as I told you guys months before the shill trade sites, has been retooled to make it more in line with the fan-favorite Netflix series.
Disney+ also has the two woke shows, Wonder Man and Ironheart, in the works, which could very well have ratings in the gutter like Agatha, as well.
Don’t blame he fans, blame the bozos at Marvel making the decisions to put out crap content nobody wants to watch. The message has been loud and clear.
WandaVision ratings:
- Episode 1 & 2: 434
- Episode 3: 376
- Episode 4: 431
- Episode 5: 589
- Episode 6: 596
- Episode 7: 720
- Episode 8: 732
- Episode 9: 924
