The Invincible Season 3 trailer kicks off with a humorous yet tense exchange between Mark (Invincible) and Cecil Stedman, who reminds Mark of his responsibilities as Earth’s protector. In classic Invincible fashion, the dialogue is sharp and witty, with Cecil criticizing Mark for his lack of preparedness, highlighting the aftermath of Season 2. “Months since 2000 retirees got their vacation cruise ruined and you got your ass kicked by some second cousin…” Cecil points out, referencing one of Mark’s many battles that didn’t go as planned. “So what exactly have you been doing to prepare? There’s only eight billion people counting on you…”
The Viltrumite threat looms larger than ever, with ominous hints of more powerful enemies on the horizon.
The banter doesn’t stop there. Mark, trying to explain how he’s been “busy,” humorously lists tasks like writing and voice acting, a tongue-in-cheek nod to the show’s own production delays.
