As of Sunday, Deadpool & Wolverine has grossed a massive $1,212,034,062 at the worldwide box office and is the #1 movie at the box office for the fourth time.
This figure surpasses Captain America: Civil War‘s $1,161,636,400, moving Deadpool & Wolverine up to #8 on the MCU charts.
Remarkably, Deadpool & Wolverine achieved this in just 31 days of release, whereas Captain America: Civil War took 140 days to reach its total.
The Deadpool & Wolverine box office shows no signs of slowing down, with estimates predicting it will bring in another $17 million domestically over the weekend.
As for its domestic performance, in just 31 days of release, Deadpool & Wolverine has already grossed $577,213,606.
The number is currently outpacing other Marvel movies higher on the MCU box office charts, including Iron Man 3 ($385,187,736), Avengers: Age of Ultron ($427,551,427), and The Avengers ($552,950,398) within the same 31-day timeframe.
Deadpool & Wolverine now has its sights set on Iron Man 3, which is at #7 on the MCU charts with $1.215 billion. Update: It has passed IM3.
