Deadpool & Wolverine is currently tracking at the top of the MCU box office and is pacing as the fifth-best MCU movie domestically, and in ten days, is already closing in on a billion dollars (updated Sunday numbers below).
The flick shares good company with Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, and Black Panther.
Update: 13 days in, domestically, Deadpool & Wolverine is now pacing better than Black Panther.
Box office estimates for Deadpool & Wolverine‘s second weekend have the flick bringing in $94 million (56% drop) for a total of $392.5 million for its first ten days of being open.
Update: It’s higher: Deadpool & Wolverine‘s second weekend brought in $97M for a current domestic haul of $395.5M in the first ten days.
For comparison, Spider-Man: No Way Home’s first ten days domestically brought in $470.4M, Avengers: Endgame brought in $621.2M, Infinity War brought in $453.1M, and Black Panther $403M.
Marvel’s other heavy weights: The Avengers $373M, Ultron $313.4M, Iron Man 3 $284.9M, Civil War $296M, Spider-Man: Far From Home $229M, Captain Marvel $264.8M, Doctor Strange 2 $292.6M.

Some other stats:
Deadpool & Wolverine has also already passed the entire box office of both Deadpool ($782.8M) and Deadpool 2 ($785.8M).
Its current worldwide gross as of Sunday is $824M and has blown by the entire box office runs of The Marvels ($206M), Quantumania ($476M), Eternals ($402M), Shang-Chi ($432M), Black Widow ($379M), and more.
Deadpool & Wolverine holds the following box office records so far:
- Sixth biggest domestic opening of all time among any film
- Fourth biggest Hollywood superhero opening
- Biggest R-rated opening, both domestically and globally
- Biggest July opening of all time domestically
- Biggest domestic opening since Spider-Man: No Way Home in December 2021
Expect the box office to go a lot higher as Deadpool & Wolverine is worth repeat viewings. I’ve seen it twice so far. It’s also getting a lot of talk from the normies, something that has happened since Spider-Man: No Way Home and Avengers: Endgame.
