Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon dominates Netflix’s ratings for the second week in a row bringing in another 34 million views for the week of Dec 24-31.
With 23.9 million from the premiere week, the flick now has 57.9 million total views in its first ten days of release and will need another 77 million views in the next 76 days to make it into Netflix’s Top 10 which counts views for the first three months of a movie’s release.
At the #10 spot is the Russo Brothers and Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction 2 with 134.9 million views, which at the same time period already had 85 million views. Red Notice is #1 with 230.9 million views.
“For the second week in a row, Zack Snyder’s epic science-fiction fantasy Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire landed atop the English Films List and was the most-watched title of the week with 34M views,” announced Netflix with the stats include the film is #1 in ninety-three countries including the United States.

Members were in a Julia Roberts mood this week with Sam Esmail’s apocalyptic thriller Leave the World Behind at #2 (14.6M views) and Garry Marshall’s classic romantic comedy Pretty Woman at #3 (8.4M views). Family films were popular once again as Aardman’s handcrafted stop-motion Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget came in at #4 (8.2M views), The Super Mario Bros. Movie claimed #5 (7.4M views) and Adam Sandler’s animated comedy Leo spent its sixth week on the list at #6 (6.7M views). Elsewhere on the list, Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick debuted at #7 (6.2M views).
Viewers embraced the start of a new heist as Berlin (Spain) nabbed the top spot on the Non-English TV List in its debut week with 11.3M views. The new series is a spin-off of Money Heist, also known as La Casa de Papel, one of our most popular series ever. New romantic comedy The Manny (Mexico) opened at #2 (8.2M views) while Pókemon Concierge (Japan) debuted at #6 (2.6M views). Our newest live-action manga adaptation Yu Yu Hakusho (Japan) stayed strong at #5 (2.6M views).
Stand-up specials had a strong showing this week over on the English TV List. Ricky Gervais: Armageddon debuted at #1 with 8M views, Dave Chappelle: The Dreamer opened at #5 one day after its premiere (2.2M views) and Trevor Noah: Where Was I landed at #8 (1.7M views). Teen romance drama My Life with the Walter Boys spent its fourth week on the list at #2 (5.4M views), while the sixth and final season of The Crown held its reign at #3 (3.6M views).
The new fantasy film A Vampire in the Family (Brazil) debuted atop the Non-English Films List with 7.6M views. True-crime documentary Curry & Cyanide – The Jolly Joseph Case (India) climbed its way to #2 (6.5M views). Other new films on the list included the comedy Thank You, I’m Sorry (Sweden) at #3 (2.9M views) and drama Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (India) at #4 (2.8M views).
