12 Year Old Publishes Comic Book – “Mii Toons”

Inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog and the Nintendo Wii characters, 12 year old Arion D. Rashad of Pembroke Pines, FL, put together and published his own comic book, Mii Toons.

Arion stated on his website, MiiToons.com, that he began creating the characters four years ago and decided to share them with the world.

In an interview with NBC, Arion stated he gets the ideas for his characters from real life as he often puts himself and others in his books.

“I’ll even put my enemies and bullies in there,” said Arion. “Because I can’t be just fighting nothing.”

The owners of Tate’s Comics in Lauderhill, FL, thought so highly of the book that they now sell it.

“For someone so young to be putting a book out that is that good – it’s never been done,” stated Nakia Mann of Tate’s Comics.

Arion has already published quite a few Mii Toons as he currently has issues #105-108 available on his site.

Keep up the good work, Arion! Mii Toons looks great!
