First Look At Zendaya In Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’

We get a first look at Zendaya on the set of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey which continues filming overseas.

Zendaya can be seen with Nolan and Matt Damon, who is playing Odysseus. Previous pics also reveal a look at Tom Holland, who plays Telemachus, the son of Matt Damon’s Odysseus.

Who is Zendaya playing?

It’s presently unknown who Zendaya is playing. Some guesses could include Athena, the god of wisdom and war. Maybe even Circe or Calypso.

In the story, Athena plays a key role in guiding and protecting Odysseus and Telemachus. Circe is the powerful enchantress who detains Odysseus and his crew. Calypso is the nymph who keeps Odysseus on her island for years.

Her role has since been confirmed — see our full Odyssey cast list for Zendaya’s part and every other confirmed role.
