Zack Snyder continues teasing his DC movies with Superman, Batman, and Justice League which again is thought to be for his SnyderCon in April.
A few days ago saw the Justice League “Lord Darkseid” teaser demanding that fans save the dates April 28-30, and now Snyder teases more with a look at Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman.
Update: Zack has confirmed the SnyderCon; details, schedule and ticket info here.

What is SnyderCon?
Why not officially announced, it seems that Zack is again holding a SnyderCon at his college alma mater, The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. which will have screenings for Man of Steel, Batman vs Superman, and an IMAX screening for his four-hour Justice League movie which has never been released in theaters (Kevin Smith is also planning on releasing Zack’s Justice League in his new theater).
New teasers have been posted to the Vero app with a look at Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman. The images can be found below which Snyder posted “clean.”
“Life is a cycle, from birth to death to rebirth. And so the hero’s journey is a cycle as well, a continuous journey of growth and transformation,” says the image of Superman Henry Cavill.
The Ben Affleck Batman image confirms Man of Steel and Batman vs. Superman screenings at the Art Center College of Design.
Snyder uses “ACCD for each, and under the “ZSJL” – a reference to Zack Snyder’s Justice League – an IMAX screening will be held on Sunday, April 30, likely offsite at a nearby IMAX theater.
When is SnyderCon?
So the SnyderCon schedule is:
- Friday, April 28: Man of Steel screening at the Art Center College of Design (ACCD)
- Saturday, April 29: Batman vs Superman screening at the Art Center College of Design (ACCD)
- Sunday, April 30: Zack Snyder’s Justice League IMAX screening (there are two IMAX theaters close by the college)
Back in 2019, Zack held his SnyderCon with screenings of Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen, and Batman v Superman. Wouldn’t it be something if both Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill are in attendance this year?
Hopefully, the SnyderCon is also streamed online.
Zack Snyder inspired by Watchmen, Star Wars, more
Zack joined the Board of Trustees for the college back in 2016 where he wrote how he never had a mentor and was inspired straight from the source.
“Unlike a lot of ArtCenter grads, I never had a mentor. There was no guru figure teaching me to be the best version of myself,” Snyder writes on the college website. “So, I proceeded to mine for inspiration straight from the source.”
Zack continues with mention of how he was “obsessed” with Alan Moore’s Watchmen, and how he “attacked everything, from Star Wars and Excalibur, to The Caped Crusader and George Romero movies.”
“My way of seeing involves peeling back the shell of something and attempting to understand how it functions from the inside out. I got a chance to do that with my big-screen adaptation of Watchmen and my additions to the respective Batman and Superman filmographies,” writes Snyder. “For fans of these heroes, the source material is more than just a comic book. To the fans, these are sacred texts that are filled with wisdom, imagination, and life guidance: works of cultural myth-building that hold a mirror up to who we are as people. And because these comic books are designed for mass consumption… that makes them radical.”
