Earlier saw a new high-res Justice League team image released; director Zack Snyder also talked about the movie and the upcoming Wonder Woman film with USA Today.
“It was all about the filling-out of this massive comic-book pantheon with the biggest and coolest heroes we could,” Snyder said of Justice League, which includes Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Jason Momoa as Aquaman, with hopefully Henry Cavill joining the team as Superman some time later in the movie.
Regarding Wonder Woman, of which Snyder is on board as producer, Snyder says Gal Gadot's Diana Prince finds “humanity isn’t always the most kind and awesome thing," and about the movie: "It has its moments, but it can be brutal, and her coming to terms with that dichotomy is what we come to learn about her. "
Snyder continues with mention how Superman's death affects Wonder Woman.
"And in Justice League, she’s fully evolved into someone who’s embraced mankind, partly through Superman’s sacrifice. She’s like, ‘All right, I’ve got to pick it up.’ ”
"Justice League" has a November 17, 2017 release.
