To go along with losing 2.5 million viewers, it’s learned that Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon Part 2 has suffered a massive drop in views in its second week of release on Netflix.
Thanks to What’s On Netflix via Twitter, it’s pointed out the difference in views between the second week of release for Rebel Moon Part 1 and Part 2.
Check out the chart below where you can see the huge difference.
So for Part 1, the views actually increased a whopping 42% from week one to week two, while for Part 2, the views dropped 11% from week one to week two.
There also looks to be a 45% difference between the second week of Part 1 and Part 2.

What happened?
What it says is that a lot of people tuned into Part 1 during the second week, which I am guessing is because of all the controversy and reactions, so people wanted to check it out for themselves.
However, what happened is that obviously a lot fans didn’t like Part 1, so less tuned in to watch Part 2.
This is also evident by the Rotten Tomatoes scores for both movies as Part 2 is lower than Part 1 (I did like Part 2 better).
This summer sees Snyder’s 6-hour director’s cut get released on Netflix, so it will be interesting to see the numbers. Reportedly, a lot of fans didn’t finish the four-hour Justice League Snyder Cut on HBO Max.
