A rumor recently hit the net stating the Justice League runtime is coming in at 170 minutes, which would be longer than Batman vs. Superman.

As we’re still more than six months away from Justice League, the rumor must obviously be questioned.

Now DCEU co-runner Jon Berg and director Zack Snyder chime in on Twitter, having a laugh about doing a “screening” for IMDb.

I actually wouldn’t mind a longer Justice League movie as I felt the Batman vs. Superman Ultimate 3-hour cut was a lot better than the theatrical version.

To add to that, Justice League does feature a whole bunch of characters, so something along the lines of 2 hours and 50 minutes might not be all that bad.

“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.

Synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Who should be the next big MCU villain?
