Justice League Runtime Rumored

Will the Justice League movie be longer than Batman vs. Superman?

Well, according to iMDB, the Justice League movie has a run time of 170 minutes or 2 hours 50 minutes, which is twenty mintues longer than the theatrical cut of Batman vs. Superman, and ten minutes shy of the Batman vs. Superman Ultimate Edition.

I do recall a report mentioning that Zack Snyder originally wanted to go with the 3-hour cut for the Batman vs. Superman theatrical release, but the WB execs wouldn’t allow it. Perhaps the WB execs wised up, as the Batman vs. Superman Ultimate Edition is much better than the theatrical release.

As the info does come from iMDB, and we are still a ways out from the release of Justice League, we’re going to have to consider this a rumor for now.

Hopefully it’s true, though!

“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.

Synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
