New Details On Wonder Woman Movie & Amazons From Mayling Ng

With the release of the new Wonder Woman trailer comes some new information about the movie.

One particular scene in Wonder Woman seems to reveal the death of an Amazon at the hands of a bullet.  Now it’s become known who is playing the character, the Amazon named Orana. 

Mayling Ng, an actress and martial artist, took to Instagram to confirm she is playing Orana in Wonder Woman, and Mayling also reposted that the scene where her character seemingly dies is not the last we’ve seen of Orana. 

Martial Arts fighter @maylingng just confirmed her scene in the epic WONDER WOMAN trailer!! I look forward to seeing her character arc on the island (training with Diana and building her friendship) prior to this powerful scene in the movie.

As a reminder, we will still get to see Mayling’s Orana develop as a character. The beach invasion scene takes place roughly 100 years before the events of BvS. Diana is about 5000 years old when we meet her in BvS so there is at least 4000+ years of Amazon history and life on the island that we will get to see as Diana grows up.

Wonder Woman has a June 2, 2017 release directed by Patty Jenkins starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen.
