The Wonder Woman video game that was first announced back in 2021 might never see the light of day.
While in January a WB exec said the game is still getting released, now it is claimed that the Wonder Woman game is “troubled.”
Worth a mention is the news follows the recent failure of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and while maybe not related, also follows Gal Gadot being done as Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984 also being a massive bomb.
Similar to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the Wonder Woman game also apparently has people with questionable political agendas involved. A senior writer of the Wonder Woman game is said to have been boycotting WB’s Hogwarts game, which performed huge both financially for WB and with fans.
The news also follows the rumor WB might be shutting down Rocksteady.

What is said about the Wonder Woman game?
So as nothing has been said about the Wonder Woman game as of late, apparently there was talk that the game might appear at the recent Summer Game Fest 2024 (SGF).
However, SGF came and went and that never happened.
Prior to the SGF, Greg Miller, the former EIC of IGN who now runs Kinda Funny Gamescast, said a source filled him in the Wonder Woman game is “troubled.”
He said he was actually told the info sometime within the last year, and Miller even said he doubted the game would be coming to SGF.
“Want the exclusive? In the past year… I have talked to an insider who was like ‘this game’s troubled,'” he said adding, “So I don’t hold out hope that it’s in a place to show something.”
Miller continued by questioning what troubled actually means.
“I think it’s not where they want it to be,” he explained. “I don’t think it’s ready for prime time. What the f-ck is WB doing? What do they want to do? What are they trying to do with these games?”
Miller even questioned if WB could shut down Monolith, the developer behind the game.
Miller added, “I could easily see it — you close that studio, you cancel the project.”
What is the Wonder Woman video game about?
Per the official info, the untitled Wonder Woman game is a single-player open-world action-adventure game that will tell an original story set within the DC Universe. The game will allow players to become Diana of Themyscira in the fight to unite her Amazon family along with the humans from the modern world.
Wonder Woman will by powered by Monolith’s Nemesis System, and gamers will forge deep connections with both enemies and allies as they progress from a heroic fighter into a proven leader.
