Willem Dafoe Talks Justice League & Aquaman Movie

The Justice League set visits revealed Willem Dafoe as the Atlantean Nuidis Vulko who will also go on to be featured in James Wan’s Aquaman with Jason Momoa and Amber Heard.

Talking with The Guardian, Willem Dafoe reveals new Justice League and Aquaman information about his character.

“Well, Justice League is very particular because it’s an ensemble movie and my character is being introduced here in order to be a principal role in Aquaman,” Dafoe said.

Willem Dafoe goes on to explain the Justice League and Aquaman movies will be different films.

“These films are a different experience. They have different responsibilities, different resources and different intentions,” Dafoe explained. “It’s nice to go between those worlds if you can. They serve different impulses.”

Zack Snyder recently filmed Aquaman scenes for Justice League in Iceland, in which Willem Dafoe confirms his Nuidis Vulko will be a part of.

“Yep. It was a good adventure, because we were filming just east of the western fjords. Beautiful, pure landscape. We had to make a little camp with our set trailers and work out of that. It was really nice,” Dafoe said.

The Aquaman movie has a July 27, 2018 release.

“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.
