Watch: The Marvels Evolution of Captain Marvel Featurette

Marvel Studios released a new promo for The Marvels with the “Evolution of Captain Marvel” featurette.

Brie Larson was first teased at the end of Infinity War when Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury was turned to dust.

Months later would see the debut of Brie Larson in the Captain Marvel movie, a prequel to the MCU.

From there, Captain Marvel would briefly appear in Avengers: Endgame and cameo in the Shang-Chi post-credit scene.

Next up, Brie Larson would appear in the Ms. Marvel Disney+ series which directly leads into The Marvels.

What is The Marvels about?

The official synopsis provided by Marvel offers:

Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau.

Starring along with Brie Larson includes Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The Marvels has a Nov. 10 release date directed by Nia DaCosta, with Kevin Feige as the producer, and executive producers including Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos and Matthew Jenkins. The writers are Megan McDonnell, Nia DaCosta, Elissa Karasik and Zeb Wells.
