Ving Rhames, best known for playing Luther Stickell in the Mission: Impossible franchise, was hospitalized on Wednesday after collapsing inside a Los Angeles restaurant.
TMZ reports the 66-year-old actor was eating with his family when he collapsed at his table.
A diner at the scene told the site that Rhames appeared to be in and out of consciousness before paramedics arrived and rushed him to the hospital.

According to TMZ, a spokesperson for L.A. City Fire said a medical aid call came in at 1:40 p.m. for a male in his 60s. The patient was then transported to the hospital.
The good news is Rhames is expected to be fine.
A rep for the actor told TMZ he had just spoken with Rhames, and it is believed the actor got āoverheated.ā Rhames is currently being hospitalized for observation.

Best Known For Mission: Impossible
Rhames has been a major part of the Mission: Impossible franchise from the beginning, playing Luther Stickell opposite Tom Cruiseās Ethan Hunt.
He appeared in all eight films in the series, including the recent Mission: Impossible ā The Final Reckoning. Luther has been one of Ethanās most trusted allies across the franchise, making Rhames one of the few actors to remain with the series since the 1996 original.

Also Known For Pulp Fiction
Outside of Mission: Impossible, Rhames has had a long career in film and television.
He is also known for playing Marsellus Wallace in Quentin Tarantinoās Pulp Fiction, as well as roles in Jacobās Ladder, Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead, Con Air, Out of Sight, and the Lilo & Stitch franchise, where he voiced Cobra Bubbles.
