It's learned that Ron Cephas Jones has joined the cast of Sony's Venom movie.
The actor, known for playing Bobby Fish in Marvel's Luke Cage, has been cast in an undisclosed role.
Ron Cephas Jones was recently casted in DC's Shazam! movie as the wizard, but had to drop out due to a scheduling issue.

Sony also recently announced plans for their Spider-Man spinoff universe which includes mention they want Venom to crossover with Spider-Man and other Marvel characters and Avengers. The report also mentioned the Venom movie probably will not be rated-R. Additional movies in development include separate flicks for Silver Sable and Black Cat, a Jared Leto Morbius the Living Vampire movie, films for Kraven the Hunter and more.
The film has an October 5, 2018 release also starring Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze and Reid Scott, with the movie described as: One of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass characters comes to the big screen, starring Academy Award nominated actor Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom.
