Todd Lasance Cast As The Rival In Flash Season 3

Earlier saw it mistakenly reported that Todd Lasance was cast as Savitar in The Flash Season 3, but now the actual character is made known.

TV Line reports Vampire Diaries‘ Todd Lasance has been cast as The Rival.

Savitar has yet to be cast.

The Rival, in the comics, is primarily a Jay Garrick Flash foe who created a formula to give himself super speed and ended up disappearing into the Speed Force and at times reappearing.

Regarding Savitar, co-showrunner Todd Helbing offered about the character: “Savitar in Hindu means ‘the god of speed,’ and he has this sort of cult-like essence, where he’s sort of like the speed god. But everything about him is different than Zoom or Reverse-Flash. I can’t go into too much detail, but he’s quite a bit different.”

In addition to The Rival and Savitar, other Flash Season 3 baddies include Mirror Master (played by True Blood‘s Grey Damon), Dr. Alchemy (yet to be cast) and Gorilla Grodd.

The Flash Season 3 premiers Tuesday, October 4th at 8pm ET on The CW.

Young Justice Season 3 Meeting Said To Have Taken Place, But Not With Peter David

A couple of days ago saw news hit that Peter David was approached by Netflix for Young Justice Season 3.

Cosmic Book News reported on it, which went viral, reaching over half a million people on our social networks alone.

It’s safe to say that a lot of fans want a Young Justice Season 3.

Following our reporting on the subject, Young Justice creator Greg Weisman tweeted out it’s not true, and that Peter David was misquoted, which Peter David followed up with a tweet of his own.

Now Peter David has taken to his blog to post about the mix-up noting he had lunch with Greg Weisman a few weeks ago — not with Netflix. It’s possible the fan may have mixed up mention of Greg Weisman as being an official representative of Netflix.

Here’s what Peter David had to say on the matter:

“Mr. David, what are the chances of ‘Young Justice’ getting a third season?”

“Well, I had lunch with Greg Weisman a few weeks ago, and he said that Netflix is seriously considering ordering a third season because they’re impressed with how much people are watching it. So if you want to make it happen, keep on doing that.”

That’s what I’ve been saying for the past month, countless times, ever since I had lunch with Greg before San Diego. Seems pretty straightforward.

And suddenly I’ve been getting barraged with tweets and emails from fans asking me if it’s true that I’ve had a meeting with Netflix about writing the third season. Why? Because someone asked me the question at the recent Terrificon in Connecticut and, rather than report the answer I’ve given at least a hundred times, he instead provided his own version. I’ve no doubt it was an innocent mistake, but it’s caused a MAJOR headache for me.

Furthermore I’m now worried it could do damage to the cause, because people might think, “We did it! There’s gonna be a third season, done deal!” and then stop watching. Which would then cause Netflix to say, “Hunh, people have stopped watching, guess it was just a passing fad,” and that’s that.

So I will say it once more: It is NOT a done deal. So continue watching “Young Justice” if you want to have a hope of a third season.

PAD

Obviously there seems to be confusion regarding who said what, but what holds true is that Young Justice Season 3 is not green lit and to continue watching season 1 and 2 on Netflix.

Interestingly enough, one of Greg Weisman’s tweets did confirm some sort of meeting did take place with Netflix about Young Justice Season 3, which may be where the mix-up occurred (and not with Peter David’s involvement).

Jason Momoa Teases Return To Game Of Thrones

Will Khal Drago be returning to Game Of Thrones?

Jason Momoa, the actor that played the role, may have teased a return to Game Of Thrones on Instagram.

Momoa posted two photos on Instagram while visiting Ireland and included “ALOHA DROGO.”

In addition, one of the photos features Jason Momoa with Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss leading to speculation of a Khal Drago return.

Last we saw of the Dothraki chieftain was in a vision scene during Game of Thrones Season 2. It’s possible Jason Momoa could be involved in a similar scene for Season 7 or just maybe he’ll return to life (Jon Snow came back).

Of course as Jason Momoa is filming Justice League in the UK, he could simply be visiting his old pals; Game of Thrones films in Northern Ireland.

The Flash Season 3 Casts Savitar

Update #2: Todd Lasance has been cast as The Rival.

Update: Producer Greg Berlanti has said they have not cast Savitar and the source of the article has removed the reference.

Original article:

Comic-Con saw two villains revealed for The Flash Season 3 with Dr. Alchemy and a new speedster Savitar.

Now it’s announced who will play Savitar, with Dr. Alchemy planned to be announced at a later date (as of right now he is being voiced by Tobin Bell, the man behind Saw villain Jigsaw).

THR reports Savitar is being played by Vampire Diaries‘ Todd Lasance.

It’s also confirmed The Flash Season 3 photos of the black-suited speedster are of Lasance as Savitar.

In the comics, Savitar is a former Eastern Bloc military pilot who adopts the name Savitar after the Hindu god of motion when his plane is struck down by lightning, thought to be the speed force. Savitar realizes he has super speed and becomes obsessed with knowing everything he can about the speed force, which includes attempting to steal other speedster’s speed, and he even forms a cult.

Another baddie confirmed for The Flash Season 3 is Gorilla Grodd.

“The Flash” returns for Season 3 on Tuesday, October 4th at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

Netflix Approaches Peter David For Young Justice Season 3

Update #2: Peter David says he did not have a meeting with Netflix; however WB and Netflix have talked about Young Justice Season 3.

Update #1: Peter David is stating he’s been misquoted; however, the redditor is still stating, “He told me he met with Netflix.”

Original article:

Young Justice Season 3 On Netflix looks closer than ever to becoming a reality.

Following Young Justice creator Greg Weisman offering Season 3 is a real possibility, now Peter David, a writer on the series, offers he was approached by Netflix.

A redditor spoke with Peter David at Connecticut’s TerrificCon Comic-Con about Young Justice Season 3.

Peter David told the fan that Young Justice was in fact cancelled due to poor toy sales, and echoed Weiseman statement’s that Young Justice wasn’t cancelled because of poor quality or the lack of an audience.

Weisman previously said to keep watching Young Justice in order to get the series green lit by Netflix. Peter David says more of the same in that after seeing the large increase of views for Young Justice Season 1 and 2, Netflix approached him for a Young Justice Season 3 not long ago. Peter David also said he is hoping for more seasons of Young Justice.

Netflix has yet to announce or confirm Young Justice Season 3, with the fan noting Peter David did not mention if there will be a confirmation or go into specifics.

As noted, with affirmation that Netflix is definitely watching the numbers and also coupled with the fact Peter David has been approached, Young Justice Season 3 looks to be in the works or at the very least being talked about; so it’s probably a good idea to keep watching the series on Netflix.

In addition to Young Justice, Peter David is known for writing Marvel and DC comics as well as episodes of Ben 10, numerous novels and more.

Young Justice aired for two seasons on Cartoon Network from 2010 to 2013.

DC’s Powerless Loses Showrunner

It’s reported just two weeks prior to filming, the new NBC DC comedy series, Powerless, has lost its showrunner.

Deadline cites creative differences as the reason for creator/executive producer and showrunner Ben Queen exiting Powerless.

It’s said the start of production on Powerless has been postponed while a search is underway for a new showrunner. It’s noted the delay will not impact the premiere of Powerless at NBC, which is due to debut mid-season.

The Powerless pilot has already been shot and a teaser has already been released.

Powerless stars Vanessa Hudgens as the main character Emily Locke; Danny Pudi as Teddy; Alan Tudyk as Del, Ron Funches as Ron, and Christina Kirk as Jackie.

Synopsis:

In the first comedy series set in the universe of DC Comics, Vanessa Hudgens (“Grease Live,” “High School Musical”) plays Emily, a spunky young insurance adjuster specializing in regular-people coverage against damage caused by the crime-fighting superheroes. It’s when she stands up to one of these larger-than-life figures (after an epic battle messes with her commute) that she accidentally becomes a cult “hero” in her own right … even if it’s just to her group of lovably quirky co-workers. Now, while she navigates her normal, everyday life against an explosive backdrop, Emily might just discover that being a hero doesn’t always require superpowers.

Gorilla Grodd Confirmed For The Flash Season 3

Gorilla Grodd will be back for The Flash Season 3.

At the recent Television Critics Association press tour, producer Andrew Kreisberg teased the return of Gorilla Grodd with a multi-episode arc this coming season on The Flash.

“Yes. We’re going to be doing a two-part episode that takes place in Gorilla City,” Kreisberg said.

Last we saw of Gorilla Grodd, he was tricked into going through the Earth-2 portal leading to Gorilla City in which Wells explained that it was the settlement of other apes who also had been the subjects of scientific experiments. With Gorilla City confirmed for The Flash Season 3, it looks as if we haven’t seen the last of Earth-2.

American Horror Story Season 6 Teases Alien Abduction

FX has released another teaser for American Horror Story Season 6.

The teaser, titled “Camp Sight,” shows a woman seemingly being abducted by aliens, but then something really nasty happens next!

Bear in mind that the president of FX recently stated they are intentionally misleading viewers by putting out fake teasers to throw them off from knowing the plot, so this could be another ruse.

However, American Horror Story Season 6 set images did reveal a lost colony, so maybe the aliens are responsible? Aliens were also featured in previous seasons of American Horror Story, with “Asylum” specifically coming to mind.

“American Horror Story” Season 6 premiers Wednesday, September 14th at 10 p.m. ET on FX.

Netflix Lists Punisher Series For 2017 Release

It looks as if Netflix may be releasing the Punisher series in 2017, which means possibly three Marvel shows for that year.

Netflix updated their queue which says Marvel’s The Punisher comes out in 2017 and included as the description: “After the murder of his family, Frank Castle is both haunted and hunted. In the criminal underworld, he’ll become known as The Punisher.”

It is possible the Punisher information is simply a placeholder (see below); so the release date may change.

Jon Bernthal stars as The Punisher, with with Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal) serving as Executive Producer and Showrunner in addition to writing the series’ first two episodes.

The other two Marvel series slated for 2017 on Netflix include Iron Fist and The Defenders; however, The Defenders is only getting eight episodes (compared to thirteen) as it’s more of an event series that sees the characters from the other shows teaming up in Avengers-like fashion.

Marvel and Netflix also have Luke Cage debuting Friday, September 30th.

A Daredevil Season 3 and Jessica Jones Season 2 is in the works as well, which look to be released in 2018.

Watch More American Horror Story Season 6 Creepy Teasers

Three more American Horror Story Season 6 teasers have been released with the latest called “Shadow” which looks to tie into Season 4’s “Freak Show.”

The Facebook video is from the perspective of another Facebook user watching the video who makes comments on the footage. Taking a closer look at the Facebook user reveals the name “Maggie Roberts,” which is a combination of Freak Show‘s Maggie Esmerelda and the actress who played the role, Emma Roberts. The profile pic also appears to be Emma Roberts as well, which may suggest she will be in American Horror Story Season 6. The video also seems eerily similar to the 1922 Nosferatu movie.

FX head honcho John Landgraf did state at the Television Critics Association press tour that some of the American Horror Story Season 6 teasers are meant to throw viewers off, and that they are keeping the plot a secret; so it remains to be seen which one the teasers is actually legit.

“We decided that it would just be really this year we just thought it would be really fun to keep it a mystery this year. And we are,” Landgraf said at TCA. “They went out and made many more trailers than you’ve actually seen for hypothetical seasons of American Horror Story. One of them is accurate.”

Possible American Horror Story: Season 6 plot details did potentially leak online revealing the season may be about a lost American colony.

Sarah Paulson is returning and did tease her character as well (see the Instagram poster below): “Real. Live. Human. And you’re gonna see what I mean when you see it.”

“American Horror Story” Season 6 premiers Wednesday, September 14th at 10 p.m. ET on FX.

No Batman or Constantine For CW DC TV

A couple of weeks ago saw a rumor hit that suggested both Constantine and Batman would be a part of the CW DC TV universe.

Now EP Greg Berlanti is stating that’s not the case.

At the Television Critics Association press tour, Berlanti said, “We haven’t had any conversations with them about Constantine. Constantine exists in a certain place in the DC world and universe. They’re kind of internally examining what they want to do with that character next.”

Berlanti mentioning they are internally examining what they are going to do with Constantine may suggest the character could be featured in the DC movies.

Regarding Batman on the CW, Berlanti shot down the rumors of using Batman, Batwoman and Oracle, and said they are “completely baseless.”

Berlanti said there are currently no plans to include Batman characters in Arrow, Supergirl or any of the Arrowverse shows.

The original rumor mentioned that Fox owned the Batman rights and would have to share the Batman rights for a fee, so it’s possible Fox may have scoffed at the idea.

Joss Whedon Rumored To Direct The Flash & Supergirl

Joss Whedon may be jumping ship over to DC.

According to a new rumor, Joss Whedon is going to direct The Flash and Supergirl musical crossover episodes, which was announced yesterday.

The rumor may have some merit as Whedon recently let it be known that he is a big fan of The Flash series, and Grant Gustin also recently said he wants Joss Whedon to direct an episode of The Flash.

Whedon also previously directed musical episodes for Buffy and Glee; the latter saw both Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist star in the series.

The villain of The Flash and Supergirl musical crossover is also rumored to be the Music Meiser, which was a character created for the Batman: The Brave and The Bold animated series musical episode. It’s also suggested Neil Patrick Harris may play the role as Harris voiced Music Meiser and also was featured in Whedon’s Dr. Horrible Sing-Along musical.

Hopefully if the rumor turns out to be true, this is a sign that things between Joss Whedon and WB are mending as there has been bad blood between the two over years back when Whedon was involved with various Wonder Woman and Batman projects. Bringing Joss Whedon over to the DCEU wouldn’t be a bad thing at all as well.

Joss Whedon recently parted ways with Marvel following The Avengers 2, with Marvel CEO Ike Perlmutter’s interference said to be the blame; however, with Kevin Feige booting Perlmutter from Marvel Studios, now Whedon has said he would still like to do work for Marvel Studios again and even said he wouldn’t mind directing a Black Widow movie.

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Season 2 Synopsis & Vixen Poster Released

Jumping from the digital CW Seed animated series to DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Season 2, check out a new poster for Vixen.

Vixen is being played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers, who actually is playing Amaya Jiwe, the grandmother of the animated series’ Mari McCabe (time travel obviously involved).

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow returns in October to The CW.

Legends Of Tomorrow Season 2 synopsis:

After the defeat of the immortal villain Vandal Savage and the corrupt Time Masters who colluded with him, a new threat emerges. Dr. Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), an unconventional and charming historian, is thrust into the action upon making a shocking discovery – the Legends are scattered throughout time.

Nate must find a way to rescue season one’s beloved team of heroes and rogues, including billionaire inventor Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), who has created an exo-suit with the power to shrink him to miniscule size, as the Atom; Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), the White Canary, a trained assassin; Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (Franz Drameh), who together form the meta-human Firestorm; and Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), aka Heat Wave, a career criminal. When the Legends encounter the J.S.A (the Justice Society of America, the precursor to DC’s Justice League) in the 1940s, Amaya Jiwe (Maisie RichardsonSellers), aka Vixen, joins the team. While the team reunites, a mystery looms – the fate of former captain Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill).

Once reunited, the Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations – unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. When Nate, the grandson of J.S.A. member Commander Steel, unexpectedly finds himself with powers, he must overcome his own insecurities and find the hero within himself. Ultimately, the Legends will clash with foes both past and present, to save the world from a mysterious new threat.

Based on the characters from DC, DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl”), Marc Guggenheim (“Arrow,” “Eli Stone,” “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”), Andrew Kreisberg (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Eli Stone,” “Warehouse 13”), Phil Klemmer (“The Tomorrow People,” “Chuck”), Chris Fedak (“Forever,” “Chuck”) and Sarah Schechter (“Arrow,” “The Flash”).

Prior to starring in The Flash and Supergirl, both Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist starred in the musical TV series Glee.

Now at the Television Critics Association press tour, it’s learned the two shows will have a musical crossover.

“Yes, there will be a musical crossover,” executive producer Greg Berlanti confirmed. “There’s going to be a musical pair of episodes in the back half of the year between Supergirl and Flash.”

Regarding the music the pair will be singing, Berlanti offered,”I think they’re going to be mostly preexisting songs.”

EW.com also notes a lot of The Flash and Supergirl cast have musical talents, which also includes Jesse L. Martin and Jeremy Jordan.

“Some of you may know my own personal love of musicals and actors who have been in them, and we have a number of people who can sing across all the shows who will be making some very exciting appearances in the back half of the year,” Berlanti said. “I’ve probably been leading the charge myself just because my own nexus of loving musicals and loving superheroes,” Berlanti said. “So many times it’s a musical episode off the set, and I think on all the shows, we love to use all of the character talents as much as possible. We’ve toyed with who potentially the villain could kind of be. My sense is we’ll be very careful about how it is they kind of break into song and there will probably be an element of being in some character’s head at the time.”

Dolph Lundgren Joins Arrow Season 5

Dolph Lundgren is joining Arrow Season 5.

Lundgren, known for Rocky and the Expendables, will be playing a new villain in the series.

“In our flashbacks in Russia — we’re set in Russia this season — we are going to be bringing in Dolph Lundgren as one of our big bads,” executive producer Wendy Mericle revealed at today’s Television Critics Association’s press tour.

Dolph Lundgren’s character was first mentioned at the end of last season when Tiana referred to the Russian villain Kovar.

“He is somebody we heard about in season 4,” Mericle told EW. “Kovar. We are going to bring him in and he’s going to be this super big badass guy who works for the Russian government, and is not a friend of Oliver or the Bratva. It’s part of Oliver’s promise to Taiana at the end of season 4, and it’s going to be interesting because it’s going to get complicated and very messed up very fast.”

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim also revealed Arrow Season 5 will be the final year of flashbacks.

“We always said that Oliver had a five-year journey when he was marooned on the [island],” he said. “This year, Oliver spends his time in the flashbacks in Russia. We know from various seeds we planted back in the pilot that he knows how to speak Russian, he became a Bratva captain. Sort of the flashback story in the first half of the year is going to involve Oliver’s introduction into the Bratva.”

Some details on the Arrow Season 5 plot are also made known that connects the past and present.

“[Oliver is] basically recruited into this crime organization, while at the same time in the present day, Oliver has recruits of his own,” Guggenheim said. “[Oliver is] a trainee in the past, trainer in the present, and I think that will give the audience the connect-up thematically between present in the past.”

Sarah Grey, who has a role in the upcoming Power Rangers movie and is also known for iZombie and Lucifer, will play Stargirl and is said to join Hourman (Patrick J. Adams), Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull), Vixen (Amaya Jiwe), Dr. Mid-Nite, and Obsidian in the JSA. The latter two have yet to be cast.

Stargirl, in the comics, has a cosmic star belt and Star-Rod that give her various abilities including super strength, martial arts, Star Blasts, invulnerability, flight, cosmic energy projection, able to manipulate energy, create energy constructs, and can create defensive force-fields. Stargirl is also mentally connected to her Star-Rod.

Previous details made mention that the Justice Society wouldn’t be friends – at least at first- with the Legends Of Tomorrow.

“It’s all going to kick off with an epic battle between the Justice Society and the Legends,” EP Marc Guggenheim said. “It’s required that every time there’s more than one superhero in any place at any given time, they have to fight. We’re honoring that rule and that tradition straight out of the gate.”

Caity Lotz let it be known Season 2’s second episode is titled “The Justice Society Of America” as well, and the logo for the JSA was also revealed (see below)

Comic-Con saw it learned that the JSA aren’t the only super team coming together in DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Season 2 as the series will introduce the Legion of Doom as the villains.

Stephen Amell also teased the big crossover with DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl.

“DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow” Season 2 returns in October on The CW.

No Marvel Marvel Movie & TV Crossover Because Of Marvel Creative Committee

Fans have been asking (begging?) for their favorite television personalities to appear in the Marvel movies.

While you may have heard the reason being that the Marvel TV and movies schedules don’t sync up, the real reason is because of the Marvel Creative Committee.

The Marvel Creative Committee consists of Marvel CEO billionaire Ike Perlmutter’s boy’s club of: Alan Fine, who came with Perlmutter to Marvel through Toy Biz; Marvel Comics writer Brian Michael Michael Bendis, Marvel Comics publisher Dan Buckley, and Joe Quesada, the former editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics and the current Chief Creative Officer of Marvel.

To add to that they are all good buddies with head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb.

Long story short, last year saw Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige part ways with both Perlmutter and the Marvel Creative Committee over interference in the movies and creative differences. Captain America and Avengers: Infinity War director Joe Russo stated the following back in May:

“We’ve been on that [Marvel] journey from Winter Soldier, and it may have been some story points from Civil War that caused the civil war within Marvel. I think that there were years when Kevin was absorbing the pain inflicted on the company. [Marvel Studios is] much healthier, happier” [and is paving the way for] “really compelling choices.”

Regarding the crossover between Marvel Studios and TV not happening, head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb recently appeared on Nerdist’s Comic Book Club podcast where he was asked about The Defenders appearing in the movies with mention there’s friction because of the Marvel Creative Committee. Via reddit:

When asked if The Defenders would be in the movies, he scoffed and went on and on about how Marvel Television is a 3 year old company and how they want to do their own thing, but specifically mentioned that they’ll see where the company is in 2019.

He then mentioned that Marvel Television projects are still all under the thumb of the Marvel Creative Committee, so that could also cause some friction between the possibility of television and movie crossovers.

Adding in my own two cents, if you have been a fan of this website or any of the Marvel COSMIC comic books, you know the Marvel Creative Committee aren’t fans of COSMIC-type stories. With the upcoming Marvel Studios movies looking like they’re heavy cosmic flicks (Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Captain Marvel, Avengers Infinity War, Avengers 4, Inhumans, rumored Richard Rider Nova movie), it’s no wonder Feige booted them from being involved (in addition to whatever trouble they caused).

It’s also apparent the Marvel Creative Committee and Marvel TV like to use their comic book creator-driven work as: Agents Of SHIELD is heavily influenced by the Bendis comics; Netflix is heavily influenced by Quesada’s favorites, and Jeph Loeb went so far as to cancel the 2007 Nova comic book and replace the character he now uses in his animated TV series. There’s also the fact that Bendis cancelled and took over the 2008 Guardians of the Galaxy comic book series when word of the movie getting green lit became known (and fired the writers on the Nova and GOTG comics that inspired the movie and new billion dollar Disney franchise).

It also recently became known that Kevin Feige is introducing the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse in Doctor Strange. Is Kevin Feige going to make Marvel TV a part of the multiverse and directly disconnect it from the movies, which would enable Feige to use the same characters, but with different actors?

Chloe Bennet Teases Quake & Ghost Rider Team-Up; Talks Powers

The car Ghost Rider will be driving his vengeance this coming season on Agents Of SHIELD

Not many details are known about the car Ghost Rider, other than he’s being played by Gabriel Luna, doesn’t drive a motorcycle, and the character is named Robbie Reyes.

Now we do get a couple of details about Ghost Rider from Chloe Bennett as she hints at a Quake and Ghost Rider team-up. Bennet tells IGN:

It’s exciting! I was curious. It is always a little scary and you want everything to work well, but Gabriel is wonderful and fits in perfectly with the cast and I’m excited to see where they go with it. All the powers so far have been really rooted in something that Fitz and Simmons can always explain. I’m curious to see how they tie in a flaming head/skull on fire, and how they explain that with science.

I think we see that at the end of the season with her ability to kind of leap or fly. And so she’s become even more powerful. But that doesn’t come without a cost. I think you’ll see right away the repercussions of her powers not being monitored by SHIELD and you really see how SHIELD is necessary for people with powers.

“Agents of SHIELD” Season 4 premiers Tuesday, September 20th in its new timeslot of 10:00 PM ET.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Synopsis:

In the aftermath of their journey to another planet, Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of the team were driven more than ever to put an end to the Hydra organization. Little did they know that they were up against the deadliest threat they’ve ever faced – an extremely powerful Inhuman, Hive, who was transported back from Maveth in the body of their worst enemy, Grant Ward. The team was able to thwart and kill Hive and take down Hydra, but they are all still mourning the death of fellow agent and Inhuman, Lincoln Campbell.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.

Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) will roar into the lives of Agent Coulson and the team as a junkyard mechanic who can turn on a dime into the terrifying Ghost Rider. Will Robbie be a friend or foe to S.H.I.E.L.D. – as well as the world, itself? Meanwhile, Fitz discovers that socially awkward genius and friend Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) has started putting the finishing touches on a new, secret invention.

Watch: Salem Season 3 Marilyn Manson Teaser Trailer

WGN America has debuted a new teaser trailer for Salem Season 3, which features Marilyn Manson.

Watch below.

Salem stars Janet Montgomery as Mary Sibley, Shane West as John Alden, Seth Gabel as Cotton Mather, Ashley Madekwe as Tituba, Tamzin Merchant as Anne Hale, Elise Eberle as Mercy Lewis and Lucy Lawless as Countess Marburg.

Salem returns Sunday, November 2nd on WGN America.

About:

Set in 17th century colonial Massachusetts—a significant time in the history of American politics, religion and society—Salem brings you the real story behind the infamous witch trials. In Salem, witches are real, and they’re behind it all. Salem Village and Salem Town feuded over property, grazing rights and church rights. The government was dominated by Puritan leaders. People were scrutinized closely and this resulted in obvious discord. They were afraid of being persecuted for anything that may offend the Puritan mindset. The word “witch” seemed an easy and appropriate curse hurled at someone who behaved abnormally.
