With Tom Welling set to debut in Lucifer Season 3, it seems as if the former Smallville actor has got the DC bug back as now Tom Welling says he wants to appear on The Flash.
“I am willing to go on The Flash, and I have a few ideas on how it can happen if the network asks me,” Tom Welling recently told Nuke The Fridge.
Tom Welling actually goes so far as to say appearing on The Flash may be a done deal, as he adds, “In fact, I think I can make it happen.”
It’s noted in the article that they had a long conversation about The Flash and the multiverse, but it’s not said if Tom Welling meant a return as Superman.
Tom Welling actually turned down a return to Superman for the Supergirl TV series.
“There had been some discussion, but they’re different worlds. There was an idea that maybe Supergirl, appearing on that, but it’s such a different show,” Tom Welling told EW.com last month. “I’m older now, I don’t look the same. Appearing on that show as Clark Kent or even Superman, for me, I would not want to watch me do that at all. They just have such a different tone.”
We see that Tom Welling turned down Supergirl because he feels it’s a different tone. Maybe with The Flash having a multiverse, Tom Welling has an idea where he returns as an older Superman?
