Tom Holland Has 6-Picture Spider-Man Marvel Deal

It’s learned Tom Holland has signed a 6-picture deal to play Spider-Man.

Tom Holland tells THR he has signed on for three Spider-Man movies and three Marvel films.

“They give you options, and those could be exercised whenever. Like a cameo in Avengers. I’m unclear as to which movies, though,” Holland said. “I do know I have three Spider-Man movies and three solo movies contracted. But if you have another movie, Marvel is so good at working around it. They’re very respectful of your life, really. They understand that you have to work on other movies, and they try and fix it up so you can work around each other.”

It’s guessed the movies Tom Holland is signed on for include the new Spider-Man franchise trilogy starting with Spider-Man: Homecoming, with the Marvel movies possibly being The Avengers: Infinity War, The Avengers 4, and maybe even Avengers 5.

Tom Holland also offered he hasn’t been in touch with the previous actors who played Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield or Toby Maguire, and talked about the differences between their characters.

“You’ve seen the billionaire, the scientist, the soldier. Now it’s time to see the kid,” Holland said. “And every decision we make on set is based off how would a kid react in this situation, so every fight scene we have is designed in a way that’s almost child-friendly, so he never actually punches anyone. It’s all done kind of by accident. I think the biggest difference is his youth and innocence.”

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” has a July 7, 2017 release directed by Jon Watts starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, with Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.

Synopsis:

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Marvel Studios’ “Captain: Civil War,” begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
