“Wrapped life back Bye,” Tom Hardy posted on Instagram which includes a pic of himself making a fist and a mean face.

Tom Hardy plays Eddie Brock in the movie who somehow comes in contact with the Venom symbiote and by all accounts becomes an anti-hero.

Specific details about the plot aren’t known other than it will adapt the Marvel Comics Venom storylines of “Lethal Protector” and “Planet of the Symbiotes.”

The first image of Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock also offered potential clues by including mention of the Life Foundation, which hints at the inclusion of numerous symbiotes in addition to Venom in the film.

Carnage has also been said to be appearing in Venom, though as of now it more or less seems to be all rumor as no official announcement has yet been made. Speaking of rumor, Tom Holland is also rumored in some sort of cameo role as Peter Parker (and not Spider-Man).

Tom Hardy has also been spotted as Eddie Brock in set images and video, including taking on Scott Haze’s unknown actor and seemingly arguing with his ex-wife, played by Michelle Williams.

Below you can check out the Eddie Brock image and a video featuring Tom Hardy recently released for the Brazil Comic-Con in addition to official art.

Venom has an October 5, 2018 release date directed by Ruben Fleischer also starring Jenny Slate and Riz Ahmed.
