A big rumor has it that Chris Hemsworth may be reteaming with George Miller on Thor 5 at Marvel Studios. The pair worked together on WB’s Furiosa.
What does the rumor say?
The rumor comes via World of Reel from a few days ago. The site claims that a World War Hulk movie is in development and that Kevin Feige has reached out to numerous directors including George Miller.
It’s said that George Miller has shown interest in directing Thor 5 and that it was Hemsworth who set up the meeting between Miller and Feige.
As noted, George Miller was at one time supposed to direct Justice League Mortal which was going to film in Australia, the home of Hemsworth. Warner Bros. pulled the plug on Justice League Mortal and canceled the project. Maybe Miller will get a second shot at the chance to do a superhero film with Thor 5?

Thor 5 has been rumored to be happening for a while. It’s claimed to be going a darker and much less goofier route than Love and Thunder, which is one of the worst pieces of MCU content to have been released in the post-Endgame era.
Hemsworth has made it clear he doesn’t want to go back to goofy Thor, and Taika Waititi has said he’s done with Marvel and won’t be directing Thor 5.
Thor 5 could also see the return of Tom Hiddleston. It’s been also rumored Thor 5 could be a team up between Chris Hemsworth and Hiddleston. Following the second season of Loki, it seemed as if Hiddleston was done with Loki, but true to his trickster ways, Hiddleston said he is keeping the door open for a return.
Recently saw the big news that Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the MCU along with the Russo Brothers. It’s claimed Chris Evans is also back along with Haley Atwell. It’s also rumored Scarlett Johansson will be back at Marvel. Why not get the whole band back together from the first The Avengers movie?
