The Odyssey: First-Look Set Pics Include Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal

Christopher Nolan continues filming his big epic movie, The Odyssey, overseas, where set pics show Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal, Nolan himself, and more.

We get the pics from a fan account on X that shares a look at the actors involved, along with images of the ancient Greek setting.

Matt Damon, sporting a long grey beard, is confirmed to be playing Odysseus. It’s believed that Tom Holland is playing his son, Telemachus. Jon Bernthal has a freshly shaven head, which could mean he’s playing the Cyclops, Polyphemus—or perhaps Eurylochus, the distrusting crew member on Odysseus’ voyage.

Who else stars?

The cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron.

Also starring includes Himesh Patel, Bill Irwi, Benny Safdie, Samantha Morton, Jon Bernthal, John Leguizamo, Elliot Page, Jesse Garcia, Will Yun Lee, with Mia Goth and Corey Hawkins. And Josh Stewart is reported to have a role who was featured in Nolan’s Tenet, The Dark Knight Rises, and Interstellar.

What is The Odyssey about?

The official movie synopsis is yet to be released. The Odyssey is an ancient Greek epic written by Homer. The story follows Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, as he faces a perilous ten-year journey home after the Trojan War. Along the way, he encounters legendary challenges, including the Cyclops Polyphemus, the alluring Sirens, and the sorceress Circe.
