'The Boys' Spinoff Debuts 'Gen V' Trailer

Check out the trailer for the spinoff of The Boys, Gen V, which is about a college for superheroes (and supervillains) that debuted at this past weekend’s CCXP.

The trailer description offers: Welcome to Godolkin University, a safe space for you to thrive. This is your first look at GEN V, The Boys college spinoff series arriving on Prime Video in 2023.

What is Gen V about?

Set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Gen V explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the school’s top ranking.

The series stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pigossi, Clancy Brown, Alexander Calvert, and Jason Ritter.

The series will also feature guest appearances from Jessie T. Usher (A-Train), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), and P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke) reprising their roles from The Boys.

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters serve as showrunners and executive producers. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Craig Rosenberg, Zak Schwartz, Erica Rosbe, and Michaela Starr also serve as executive producers on the spinoff series, which will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Serving as co-executive producer is Brant Engelstein. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios and Amazon Studios, in association with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey Pictures, and Original Film. Loreli Alanís serves as executive in charge for Point Grey Pictures.

The Boys Season 4 also gets released next year which includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan joining the show where the upcoming season is said to explore how The Boys with new recruit Starlight will take down Victoria Neuman once and for all, as well as save the soul of Ryan, and it’s also confirmed Season 4 will feature a new Black Noir, with Gen V also tieing into things.
