Jeffrey Dean Morgan Joins ‘The Boys’ Season 4

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has joined The Boys Season 4 which is currently now filming.

No word yet on who Jeffrey Dean Morgan will play (fans are guessing and hoping Tek Knight), but he reunites with Supernatural creator Eric Kripke who is the showrunner of The Boys, and Jensen Akles who plays Soldier Boy. Morgan played John Winchester during 13 episodes of the show that aired on The CW as the father of Dean (Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki).

Back in June, Kripke teased Jeffrey Dean Morgan for The Boys Season 4.

“Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a superfan of the show, so he and I are talking,” Kripke told to E! News. “We’re trying to figure out something for season four. Nothing finalized yet, but he and I are chatting and e-mailing and seeing it we can make it work with his busy schedule. So, stay tuned on that.”

Of course, Morgan is also known for playing Negan in The Walking Dead and will do so in the show’s final season, which is currently airing, and following that, Jeffrey Dean Morgan teams with Lauren Cohan in The Walking Dead spinoff, Isle of the Dead, which is set in a post-apocalyptic New York City.

Last year also saw Morgan star in the horror movie, Unholy, which wasn’t too bad.

The Boys Season 4 now filming

Recently saw both Anthony Starr and Karl Urban tease that The Boys Season 4 is now filming.

Urban posted a pic of himself with Jack Quaid, and Starr posted an image of The Seven from Season 1.

The title of the first episode of Season 4 has also been revealed, “Department of Dirty Tricks,” as Kripke teased the script on social media.

It has been said The Boys Season 4 will explore how The Boys will take down Victoria Neuman, save Ryan, and deal with Gen V, and Season 4 is also confirmed to have a new Black Noir, which follows Homelander killing the original after finding out Black Noir hid the truth about Soldier Boy being his father from him, with Gen V also tieing into things.
