The Boys series finale 4DX event already looks like a hot ticket.
Prime Video announced the special 4DX screening for the final episode of The Boys on Tuesday, May 19 at 9:30 p.m. ahead of the Wednesday streaming premiere, but after checking theater listings, seats appear to be sold out or unavailable in multiple locations.
Cosmic Book News reached out to Prime Video PR to ask if more screenings or additional theaters will be added. A rep said the team would look into it.

The Boys 4DX Finale Event Appears To Be Sold Out
The official The Boys X account announced the 4DX event this week, telling fans the series is “going out with a bang” and joking that viewers might “vibrate” watching the finale in 4DX.
The screening comes with the purchase of a concession voucher, good toward sweets or soda, on the day of the event.
However, ticket availability already appears to be a problem.
After searching Fandango for participating theaters, available seats are hard to find. At one point, the only location I could find showing availability was a theater in Alaska.
A friend also checked availability in Las Vegas after our first report and said tickets were sold out there as well.

Prime Video PR Is Looking Into It
Cosmic Book News contacted Prime Video PR after noticing the issue and asked whether more 4DX screenings or additional theater locations are being planned in response to the high demand.
A Prime Video rep responded, saying they would look into it.
So for now, it is unclear if the May 19 event is a true one-night-only screening or if more seats could be added before the finale arrives.

The Boys Final Season Continues
The Boys’ final season is already rolling out on Prime Video.
Episode 6 was released May 6, with Episode 7 set for May 13. The series finale arrives on Prime Video on May 20.
The 4DX screening takes place May 19 at 9:30 p.m., giving fans a chance to watch the final episode early in theaters.

Demand Looks Strong For The Finale
The apparent sellout is a good sign for The Boys as the Prime Video series heads into its final stretch.
The show has built its brand on superhero violence, political satire, and shock-value moments, so a 4DX screening makes sense for the finale.
Now the question is if Prime Video will add more screenings after the event appears to have sold out fast.
Cosmic Book News will update if Prime Video confirms additional 4DX showtimes, more theater locations, or if the May 19 event is officially one night only.
