The Boys Series Finale Adds More 4DX Showtimes After Fan Demand

The Boys series finale is getting more 4DX showtimes after fans grabbed nearly every seat for the original screening.

The official The Boys X account announced that additional 4DX showtimes have been added for Tuesday, May 19 at 11:15 p.m., following strong demand for the previously announced 9:30 p.m. screening.

More The Boys 4DX Showtimes Added

The new update says more 4DX showtimes have been added next Tuesday at 11:15 p.m. because fans reserved “almost every single seat” for the 9:30 p.m. event.

The account also confirmed the same setup as before: fans can get a seat with the purchase of a concession voucher, which can be redeemed for snacks the night of the screening.

The Boys also joked that fans will not have to reach into The Deep’s popcorn bucket to get them.

Original Screening Filled Up Fast

The update comes after the first The Boys series finale 4DX screening appeared to sell out fast in multiple locations.

Cosmic Book News previously reached out to Prime Video PR to ask if more seats, screenings, or theater locations would be added due to demand.

Now the show has confirmed a second late-night 4DX showtime for the finale.

We’ve also checked Regal and the new 11:30pm screenings are also selling out fast.

The Boys Finale Screens Early In 4DX

The Boys series finale 4DX screening takes place May 19, one day before the final episode arrives on Prime Video on May 20.

The event gives fans a chance to watch the end of the series early in theaters, with 4DX adding motion seats and in-theater effects tied to the action on screen.

The new 11:15 p.m. showtime gives fans another shot at seeing the finale after the 9:30 p.m. seats were nearly all reserved.

Final Season Release Schedule

The Boys final season is currently rolling out on Prime Video.

Episode 6 was released May 6. Episode 7 arrives May 13, followed by the series finale on May 20.

The 4DX screenings are now set for May 19 at 9:30 p.m. and 11:15 p.m.
