Detective Chimp Has Two Words For Rocket Raccoon

When Marvel Comics editor Bill Rosemann single handedly chose Rocket Raccoon to be a part of the Guardians of the Galaxy, I’m guessing little did he know then that Rocket would go on to become a household name.

As we all know, Rocker Raccoon quickly became a fan-favorite character with James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie, which went on to make three-quarters of a billion dollars.

The success of Rocket Raccoon hasn’t gone unnoticed amongst Marvel’s direct competition as in the December issue of the Injustice: Gods Among Us digital series, another anthropomorphic character who happens to predate Rocket Raccoon by almost 25 years (and the 1968 Planet of the Apes), Detective Chimp, takes a swipe at Groot’s buddy.
