The CW has revealed a first look at the new live-action Powerpuff Girls TV series starring Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault as Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, respectively. Chloe Bennet takes to social media to shoot down rumors that she is involved with a Marvel show on Disney Plus. Not many details are known about the car Ghost Rider, other than he’s being played by Gabriel Luna, doesn’t drive a motorcycle, and the character is named Robbie Reyes.
Now we do get a couple of details about Ghost Rider from Chloe Bennett as she hints at a Quake and Ghost Rider team-up. Bennet tells IGN:
It’s exciting! I was curious. It is always a little scary and you want everything to work well, but Gabriel is wonderful and fits in perfectly with the cast and I’m excited to see where they go with it. All the powers so far have been really rooted in something that Fitz and Simmons can always explain. I’m curious to see how they tie in a flaming head/skull on fire, and how they explain that with science.
I think we see that at the end of the season with her ability to kind of leap or fly. And so she’s become even more powerful. But that doesn’t come without a cost. I think you’ll see right away the repercussions of her powers not being monitored by SHIELD and you really see how SHIELD is necessary for people with powers.

“Agents of SHIELD” Season 4 premiers Tuesday, September 20th in its new timeslot of 10:00 PM ET.
Agents of SHIELD Season 4 Synopsis:
In the aftermath of their journey to another planet, Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of the team were driven more than ever to put an end to the Hydra organization. Little did they know that they were up against the deadliest threat they’ve ever faced – an extremely powerful Inhuman, Hive, who was transported back from Maveth in the body of their worst enemy, Grant Ward. The team was able to thwart and kill Hive and take down Hydra, but they are all still mourning the death of fellow agent and Inhuman, Lincoln Campbell.
In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director (Jason O’Mara) to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack (Henry Simmons), and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. They have been trying to track down and capture Daisy (Chloe Bennet), aka Quake, who has gone rogue in an attempt to atone for sins from the past. But with the world believing that Daisy is a dangerous outlaw who has taken down banks and bridges, the new Director has no qualms about taking her down for good. Agent May (Ming-Na Wen) is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have taken a big step forward in their relationship. But with Simmons’ new promotion as Special Advisor to the Director in Science and Technology, Fitz, as well as her former team members, finds it hard to confide in or trust her since she’s now the Director’s confidant.
Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna) will roar into the lives of Agent Coulson and the team as a junkyard mechanic who can turn on a dime into the terrifying Ghost Rider. Will Robbie be a friend or foe to S.H.I.E.L.D. – as well as the world, itself? Meanwhile, Fitz discovers that socially awkward genius and friend Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) has started putting the finishing touches on a new, secret invention.
Agents of SHIELD‘s Chloe Bennet recently attended the Wizard World Des Moines Comic Con, where, like a lot of fans, she wondered why there wasn’t a connection between the Marvel movies and the Marvel TV shows.
Obviously, as the Marvel movies are uber popular, a nod to the television shows might be rather helpful.
Bennet has this to say (via io9) when asked if Hive was such a big threat, why wouldn’t the Avengers get involved:
I don’t know. People who make movies for Marvel, why don’t you acknowledge what happens on our show? Why don’t you guys go ask them that? Cause they don’t seem to care!
It’s also mentioned to Bennet that SHIELD doesn’t cross over into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but would she want to:
I would love that. The Marvel Cinematic Universe loves to pretend that everything is connected, but then they don’t acknowledge our show at all. So, I would love to do that, but they don’t seem to keen on that idea.
We see Bennet seems to be laying blame with the movie side of things, but maybe she should go ask her boss, Marvel CEO Ike Perlmutter, what’s up.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently parted ways with both Ike Perlmutter and his cronies that run TV and the comics, which includes Brian Michael Bendis, the creator or Bennet’s SHIELD character. Head of Marvel TV, Jeph Loeb, is also known to be chums with the group.
Here are a few things Perlmutter is said to have been responsible for (off the top of my head):
No female Marvel movies
No female Iron Man 3 villain
Cancellation of X-Men and Fantastic Four comics due to feud with Fox Studios
Cancellation of X-Men and Fantastic Four merchandise over feud with Fox Studios
Reason why Joss Whedon left Marvel following Avengers 2 (and now with Perlmutter out out of the picture, Whedon has renewed interest with Marvel)
Reason for Avengers 2 not doing as well as hoped (Perlmutter’s creative committee also blamed)
Reason why no Iron Man 4 (and now with Perlmutter out of the picture, there is renewed talk of Iron Man 4)
With Perlmutter now gone, Joe Russo has said Marvel Studios is a much healthier and better place to work at
Perlmutter’s TV and creative committee cancelled the Guardians of the Galaxy comic book knowing full well a movie was getting made and placed themselves on new comics and animated shows
Perlmutter forced an Inhumans movie
Problems with Robert Downey Jr. and paying the rest of the Avengers cast (RDJ backed up his fellow actors)
Suggested further reading for Chloe Bennet:
When it comes down to it, the reason for the divide seems pretty obvious as one side seems to have rather suspect business practices and a lack of respect for people involved. Who would want to team up with that?
Stan Lee joins Hayley Atwell as they sing “Lola” while in Agent Coulson’s 1962 Chevy Corvette.
Supergirl Melissa Benoist helps out Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet with “Why Can’t We Be Friends” as they get some help from The Dark Knight and Deadpool.

Presently, Stan Lee is in the lead!
Chloe Bennet’s character, Skye, was revealed to be the Marvel Comics character Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, during Season 2 of Agents of SHIELD.
Now Bennet reveals she has cut her hair, which further resembles her comic book counterpart.
“The comic book version of Daisy Johnson has very short, Miley Cyrus-esque hair,” Bennet explained to People. “We wanted to stay true to the comic book character fans love; I wanted to please them but also make sure there was still some movement and length and sexiness in the hair.
“It was crazy. I cried a little bit, to be honest, and definitely had some anxiety,” Bennet said. “I should have brought tequila with me. 100 percent. I’m in love with it. And I think for the character, it is going to be awesome.”

As many online have speculated, Chloe Bennet, who plays Skye in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., confirms the race of the blue alien to be Kree.
“I know that the alien was a Kree,” she stated in the following video.” As we all know, as they say it. I know I was injected from serum made from that, and I am cured, and to normal humans like Coulson, he almost died, but for me for some reason nothing happened.”
Bennet also says she would love to be in The Avengers.
“It would be a dream come true.”
We’ve speculated that Skye is an Inhuman. Any ideas?
A Kree will also be the villain in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie as Lee Pace plays Ronan.
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:4783:]]We get add another member to the cast of ABC and Joss Whedon’s S.H.I.E.L.D. series as Chloe Bennet has been added as Skye.
The characters is described by THR as “a confident woman who is slightly obsessed with superhero culture and the shadow organizations that exist within it. She’s edgy and can out-talk anyone with her unflappable nature.”
Chloe Bennet previously had a role on Nashville and joins Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Gemma Simmons, and Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May.
The S.H.I.E.L.D. series looks to debut next Fall with possibly Samuel L. Jackason set to reprise as Nick Fury.
